Salary: £27,000 + OTE £35k+

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm + every other Saturday 8 am-12 pm

Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced salesperson with a passion for cooking, entertaining, or interior design to join our team as a Sales Designer. As a Sales Designer, you will apply your sales expertise while mastering the art of kitchen design.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage Your Sales Experience:
    • Use your strong sales background to understand customer needs and guide them through the kitchen design process.
    • Work closely with experienced designers to master the essentials of kitchen design, including space planning, aesthetics, and functionality.
  2. Engage with Customers:
    • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, using your sales skills to identify their needs and preferences.
    • Create bespoke kitchen designs that align with customers' lifestyles and budgets, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  3. Develop Product and Design Knowledge:
    • Become an expert in our wide range of kitchen products, materials, and finishes.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in kitchen design, cooking, and interior décor to better inspire and serve customers.
  4. Learn Technical and Design Skills:
    • Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard design software, creating detailed kitchen plans and visualisations.
    • Produce accurate quotes and ensure all designs meet company standards and customer expectations.
  5. Support Sales and Design Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide design insights and ideas that enhance the customer experience.
    • Prepare and present design proposals that excite and inspire customers, turning their visions into reality.
  6. Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
    • Offer friendly, professional advice to customers, supporting them throughout the design and purchase process.
    • Address customer queries and concerns with a positive, solution-focused approach, ensuring a smooth experience.

  • A strong background in sales with a proven track record of success.
  • A genuine interest in cooking, entertaining, or interior design—your passion will be key to your success.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software is a plus, but not essential.
  • A proactive attitude, eager to contribute to a team and grow in a dynamic industry.
