Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited specializes in the design, development, and production of advanced components for the aerospace and defense sectors. We are currently looking for a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to enhance our operations.

Position Summary:

The Press Brake Setter/Operator will be responsible for the fabrication of both small and large quantities of intricate sheet metal parts utilizing both CNC and manual press brake machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate high-precision sheet metal components using Amada HFE, EG4010, and HFB CNC Press Brakes.
  • Employ measuring tools such as Vernier Calipers, Protractors, and Vernier Height Gauges to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and operate equipment including Fly-Press, Guillotines, and Drilling Machines.
  • Uphold cleanliness and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist colleagues with various manufacturing tasks as required.
  • Engage in different manufacturing environments such as Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in precision sheet metal work.
  • Proficient in setting and operating both CNC and manual press brakes.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in using engineering measurement tools.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adept at performing under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
  • Experience within the aerospace industry.
  • Certification in power press setting and operation.
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials, including L163-T3 sheet.

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Compensation: £16.35 per hour

Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 39 Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (no lunch)
