We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operative to join our client in the ST5 area. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital part in the running of the CNC press brake machine and be self-sufficient within your role.

The ideal candidate will be a driven and experienced individual who will fit within our company culture. Although initial training will be provided, a minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar type role is essential, including both the programming and setting of the machine.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and maintaining the CNC press brake machine
  • Programming and setting the machine to meet production requirements
  • Reading and working from drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Bending and shaping metal components to precise specifications
  • Carrying out manual duties and lifting heavy loads

We are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a press brake operative role
  • Proven experience in bending and shaping metal components
  • Ability to read and work from drawings
  • Physical fitness to carry out manual duties
  • A 'can-do' attitude and ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience with Amada CNC machines is highly desirable

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £12.62-£13.32. Free on-site parking is also available.
