About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Wienerberger België. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment and machinery
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to minimize downtime and ensure optimal plant performance
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults, and perform routine testing and maintenance tasks
  • Program and configure Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize plant operations
  • Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy electrical faults
  • Promote Lean thinking and contribute to the development of safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation
  • Attend to breakdowns and ensure prompt resolution to minimize production downtime
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Wienerberger's quality system and standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline
  • Strong experience of working in a manufacturing or factory environment
  • Commitment to safe working practices and strong experience of health and safety best practice
  • Ability to work in a busy environment, with strong team playing skills and good communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) processes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience of diagnostics and electrical motor maintenance
  • Experience and knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
