Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As an Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of a construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the construction site is a safe working environment for all personnel, and that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Programme Management: Manage the electrical programme, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall project programme and that all electrical work is completed on time.
- Inductions: Conduct inductions for new staff members, ensuring that they are aware of the site rules, safety procedures, and electrical protocols.
- Staff Management: Manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Permits: Obtain and manage all necessary electrical permits, ensuring that the project is compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Project Manager Updates: Provide regular updates to the project manager, ensuring that they are aware of any electrical issues or concerns.
- Weekly Progress Meetings: Attend weekly progress meetings with the main contractor, ensuring that the electrical programme is aligned with the overall project programme.
- Client/Contractor Liaison: Liaise with the client and contractor, ensuring that their electrical needs are met and that the project is completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements:
- SMSTS: Hold a valid and in-date SMSTS certificate.
- First Aid: Hold a valid and in-date first aid certificate.
- CSCS/ECS: Hold a valid and in-date CSCS/ECS card.
- Experience: Have experience in managing electrical projects, with a strong background in electrical engineering and construction.
