About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team at Best Buy Health. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in delivering patient experiences on mobile devices, working closely with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the frontend development team, ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality frontend software solutions, working closely with our backend and mobile teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our UX design and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience, ensuring that our software solutions meet the needs of our patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, working closely with our engineering teams to ensure that our software solutions are stable, secure, and performant.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with other team members, mentoring and coaching junior developers to help them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in frontend development, with a strong background in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cross-platform applications, particularly using Capacitor and Ionic, familiarity with NgRx state management and reactive programming using RxJS, and experience in the healthcare industry or with Ionic hybrid apps.
