MK Personnel Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Car Mechanic to join our team. As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and Repair Vehicles: Use manual and digital tools to identify and fix vehicle faults, ensuring that all repairs are carried out to a high standard.
- Prepare Cost and Time Estimates: Provide accurate estimates for work done, taking into account the complexity of the repair and the time required to complete it.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Update Vehicle Service Records: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Install and Fit New Vehicle Accessories: Install and fit new vehicle accessories, such as alarms, stereos, and other equipment.
- Maintain a Database of Spare Parts: Keep a database of spare parts in the repair garage, ensuring that all parts are easily accessible and accurately recorded.
The successful candidate will work a standard Monday to Friday 9am-6pm shift, with occasional Saturday work. The pay rate will depend on experience, but will be in the range of £35,000 per annum.
