Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Group Protection team as a Customer Service Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding and continued scheme maintenance of Group Protection policies to ensure we remain a top provider.
  • Provide administrative support and process work, as well as communicate with customers and brokers on the phone.
  • Deal with all correspondence from internal and external customers, keeping them up to date on progress and ensuring next stages are understood.
  • Maintain scheme data, administer, and update individual customer and client records.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer enquiries and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage and organize your own work queue to ensure service levels are met and brokers or direct customers are kept informed of progress.
  • Consider the circumstances and needs of our most vulnerable customers and take additional steps to support them through their interactions with Legal & General.

Requirements

  • People who love helping people
  • Strong communication and administration skills and passion to support customers, whatever their personal circumstances.
  • Confidence in using a desktop or laptop and experienced in using MS Office.
  • Confidence in using Excel is preferred.
