Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in classroom settings, under the guidance of qualified teachers and the SENCO.
  • Assist in delivering individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies to ensure students receive the personalised support they need.
  • Help students access the curriculum by adapting materials and offering additional guidance to enhance their understanding.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage engagement, participation, and independence in learning activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other specialists, contributing valuable observations and insights to support student progress.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all students feel valued and supported.
