About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Litigation Executive to join our Complex & Catastrophic Injury team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will assist a Partner and other Fee Earners in handling high-quality and challenging Large & Complex Loss claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the investigation and management of catastrophic injury claims, including brain injury, spinal injury, and amputation claims.
  • Provide excellent client service, ensuring that clients receive updates and their legal affairs are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to identify and investigate claims that flag a fraudulent element.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A law degree, LPC, or GDL, or a minimum of 12 months' experience in a claim handling role, preferably handling a litigated defendant caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and investigate complex claims.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
