About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at VolkerWessels UK. As a key member of our Southern Renewals Enterprise framework project with Network Rail, you will be responsible for all commercial and contractual matters on the sites allocated to you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead a team of assistant surveyors to successfully deliver projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
Requirements
  • Accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
  • Adequate experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and/or Quantity Surveyor, with a strong understanding of NEC forms of contract.
  • Experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
