Main Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the nurse specialists in the gastroenterology department to deliver a proficient administrative service.
This role includes the transcription of clinical documents such as clinic letters through audio/digital dictation systems.
Handle inquiries involving sensitive documents while recognizing when to escalate issues appropriately.

Detailed Job Description and Main Duties:- Manage electronic calendars for Specialist Nurses.
- Assist Specialist Nurses by relieving them of non-clinical administrative duties whenever feasible.
- Maintain and organize patient databases, including the ability to collate, filter, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
- Generate high-quality correspondence and documentation as required by the team, including reports and letters.
- Oversee emails and take appropriate action as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Essential: GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
- Desirable: Supervisory qualification in supervision skills or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Essential: NHS administrative/secretarial experience, including the establishment and maintenance of office systems
- Desirable: Experience in team management
