Job Opportunity for a Seasoned Commercial/Technology Lawyer

At Jameson Legal, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate lawyer to join our Commercial team. Our client base ranges from entrepreneurs and start-ups to well-established household brands and multinational companies drawn from various sectors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial agreements, intellectual property, and business relationships. They will be responsible for advising clients on a range of matters, including:

  • Commercial Agreements: Drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, many of which will have an international element.
  • Agency and Distribution Agreements: Advising on agency agreements and distributorship agreements, including compliance with the Commercial Agents Regulations.
  • Intellectual Property: Drafting and advising on non-contentious intellectual property matters, including licensing, franchising, ownership, and protection of IP in the context of commercial agreements.
  • Online Platforms and Social Media: Drafting and advising on website terms and conditions, social media policies, and mobile app agreements.
  • Pre-Litigation Advice: Providing pre-litigation advice to clients on commercial disputes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in commercial law, preferably with at least six years' experience gained from a City, International, or high-quality regional firm.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a confident and relaxed manner.
