We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing R&D strategies that align with our company's overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement R&D strategies that drive innovation and competitive advantage
- Collaborate with senior management to define project roadmaps and ensure timely delivery
- Identify emerging trends and technologies to drive innovation and growth
- Lead multiple R&D projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, to cost, and to quality
- Create initiation documents and reports for each technical project, ensuring a clearly documented plan for each improvement stage
- Develop and maintain a culture of innovation and step-change improvement, ensuring an optimized manufacturing value stream
Requirements:
- Technical background with an in-depth understanding of manufacturing
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior management and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
