Lead Edrive Systems Engineer

Our client, a prestigious organization specializing in innovative products and systems within the automotive sector, is in search of an Electrical Specialist to spearhead Edrive, power electronics, and battery systems initiatives.

You will play a crucial role in the development of specialized electric vehicles across multiple platforms.
Located at their Innovation Centre, the focus is on providing solutions that span all facets of transportation, particularly in emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities as Lead Edrive Systems Engineer:


- Oversee Edrive and related systems, ensuring efficient execution to meet project timelines and quality standards during new product development.

- Provide insights and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team, following thorough analysis and collaboration with partners, to guarantee project requirements are met by offering technical expertise and advisory support.

- Deliver technical leadership on projects by proactively collaborating with engineering teams, suppliers, partners, and senior management to achieve technical objectives within budget and on schedule.

- Ensure swift resolution of any technical challenges that arise, escalating unresolved issues to the Senior Leadership Team for guidance or decision-making.


Qualifications Required:


- A degree in Engineering or a related field, coupled with senior management experience in delivering projects within an automotive OEM or with a tier 1 supplier.

- Demonstrated expertise in Edrives, power electronics, and battery systems within the automotive industry.

- High self-motivation with the ability to plan and achieve goals within deadlines, managing substantial budgets under resource constraints and pressure.

- Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
