Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Samuel Frank, a leading machinery and specialist equipment manufacturer in the West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, with a bias towards electrical or mechanical engineering. Familiarity with project management on car manufacturing plants is essential, as is experience with brownfield installation, upgrade, and retrofit type project work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cost control forecasts and reports, providing monthly updates on project movements, cost to complete, and margin. They will also give presentations of the commercial position at monthly project review meetings and provide proof of concept forecasts for each quarter.

The office element of the role will be based in Warwickshire, with regular trips to sites in the UK. All applicants must be able to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management on car manufacturing plants
  • Cost control forecasts and reports
  • Monthly updates on project movements, cost to complete, and margin
  • Presentation of commercial position at monthly project review meetings
  • Proof of concept forecasts for each quarter

Requirements:

  • Strong background in the automotive industry
  • Bias towards electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Familiarity with project management on car manufacturing plants
  • Experience with brownfield installation, upgrade, and retrofit type project work
  • PMP certification ideal, but not essential
