HR and Accounts Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced HR and Accounts Administrator to join our client's team in the Rayleigh area. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of weekly payroll for employees and agency workers, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and legislation.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reconcile discrepancies in time and attendance.
  • Process pension payments, including auto-enrolment and statutory payments.
  • Manage the purchase and sales ledger, and reconcile multi-currency bank accounts.
  • Support the Accounts Manager/Company Secretary with ad-hoc duties and provide administrative assistance as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day HR administration tasks, ensuring employee and HR personal files are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, preparing job offers and employment contracts.
  • Support the induction of new staff and oversee probationary periods.
  • Monitor and update holiday and absence requests, and support the Management Team with grievances and disciplinary processes.
Requirements:
  • Sage Online Payroll experience and Microsoft Office skills are essential.
  • Experience in using Navision is desirable.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable experience.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
