About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant to join our team at Leaders in Care in Buckinghamshire. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and quality care during the perioperative phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and quality care during the perioperative phase
  • Assist in the management and organisation of care within the Operating Department
  • Support patient care delivery
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

  • Registered Practitioner status with NMC or HCPC registration
  • ILS certification
  • Mentorship qualification

  • Experience in customer care, especially in challenging situations
  • Previous experience in an acute healthcare environment
  • Surgical First Assistant Certificate
