Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Paint Mixer. As a Trainee Paint Mixer, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality paints, including colour matching and creating new formulations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mixing formulations to create the desired paint colours for tins, aerosols, and touch-up pots
• Colour matching and quality control to ensure the highest standard of paint production
• Preparing goods for despatch, labelling, and matching up delivery notes
• Weighing out small quantities of powder and maintaining a clean and tidy mixing room
• Supporting the warehouse team as needed to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse and despatch department

Requirements:

• Good organisational skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn and take on extra training as required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Physically fit with the ability to lift weights up to 20 kilos
• Not colour deficient or colour blind, as colour identification is essential
• Effective communication skills and ability to speak clearly on the telephone
