Paint Mixer

We are looking to employ a Trainee Paint Mixer, you will responsible for the smooth running of the manufacturing area, including paint mixing, weighing out powder coating and creating new formulas. You need to be flexible as maybe required to help out in other areas of the business.

**Salary**:£11.44 per hour depending on experience

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

**Location**: Oakley Hay Industrial Estate, Corby

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Mixing formulations, to make the desired paint colours for tins, aerosols and touch up pots
- Colour matching, quality control and recording all new formulations
- Preparing goods for despatch, labelling and matching up delivery notes
- Weighing out small quantities of powder and keeping the mixing room clean and tidy
- All administration associated with the production/mixing of all paints and powders
- Supporting in the warehouse with goods in/out as and when required.

**Some of the experience/skills you will require**:

- Good organisational skills, a problem solver with the ability to trouble shoot
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Requires exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent numerical and good communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Must be physically fit, as manual handling will be involved

Pay: £11.44-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
