Your Role
SAP Concur is on the lookout for a Senior Product Marketing Consultant to become an integral part of our dynamic team, which serves the Small and Midsized Business (SMB) sector. This position is centered on crafting and implementing marketing strategies for SAP Concur products, including messaging and positioning specifically for the SMB market. The successful candidate will collaborate across various functions to design and execute innovative go-to-market strategies for SAP Concur solutions, aiming to uphold our leadership position in the market while achieving sales, adoption, retention, and growth targets.
The ideal candidate will excel in leading cross-departmental initiatives that drive the growth and success of the SAP Concur SMB business unit. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, customer requirements, and product value, they will ensure that our offerings are effectively priced, packaged, and positioned to maximize performance in the SMB sector. Additionally, they will influence product innovation and direction by conveying the unique business needs of our SMB customers across all operational markets.
This role reports to the Senior Director of SMB Product Marketing and will involve close collaboration with various teams within SAP and SAP Concur, including solutions marketing, field marketing, pricing, pre-sales, sales, client success, and product management.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Formulate and implement go-to-market strategies for SAP Concur products within the SMB segment to ensure product success and enhance customer experience.
- Product Expertise: Develop in-depth product knowledge to act as a subject matter expert, creating a unique value proposition and messaging tailored to the target audience.
- Customer Advocacy: Collect and analyze customer feedback from various internal and external channels.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to marketing business planning aligned with corporate priorities, product value propositions, audience needs, and market opportunities.
- Program Planning: Assist in integrated marketing program planning by providing insights based on audience positioning, messaging, and industry expertise.
- Content Development: Collaborate with Solutions Marketing and Content teams to ensure that sales and marketing materials reflect the SMB positioning and messaging strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Work with the Enablement team to effectively launch new or updated products and initiatives with distribution teams.
- Market Insight: Analyze market opportunities by product and implement strategies to capture untapped potential. Stay informed about market trends and competitive challenges to guide product enhancements and create effective positioning.
