About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant at Seccombe Court Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, leading and supervising your shift, and working closely with the leadership team to develop services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the best care plans are created and delivered
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Administering and recording medication
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs
  • Working closely with the leadership team to develop services

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of care planning processes
  • Experience in administering medication (or willingness to undertake training)
