Tax Manager

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Director – EMEA with tax advisory and reporting matters, and working closely with the Director, Global Tax – International & Planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess corporate, VAT, withholding, and transfer pricing tax impacts of cross-border transactions.
- Implement the Transfer Pricing policy of the group.
- Conduct tax planning and research, rationalization programs, and assist with the global income tax provision and compliance-related matters.
- Manage and coordinate tax reviews of cross-border offers and business support.
- Interface with and respond to business unit and other function personnel as tax-related cross-border questions arise.
- Participate in international tax planning and structuring initiatives.
- Support the integration of business acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
- Perform technical research and prepare written technical correspondence or memoranda to support the income tax provision and tax planning initiatives.
- Support the preparation of the quarterly and year-end income tax provision and related documentation.
- Manage tax audits and enquiries and defend tax filing positions related to cross-border matters and tax positions.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in international tax laws and treaties.
- Broad knowledge of international tax laws and treaties.
- Experience with a large multinational group.
- Experience with transfer pricing concepts and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work across international regions and cultures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Works independently in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Knowledgeable on accounting for income taxes and accounting in general.
- Possesses strong organizational skills.
- Adaptive, flexible, and able to function effectively in a highly complex global environment.
