About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite LTD, a leading groundworks subcontractor specializing in groundworks for house building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for groundworks, plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring value for money and identifying any cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the project and site teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work on-site.
  • Manage subcontractor payments and variations, providing accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Support the project team in remediation and bulk earthworks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within groundworks and civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost control and management processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
