Job Summary:

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join their thriving law firm in Manchester. As an Employment Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in managing multi-day Employment Litigation cases for SMEs and companies, dealing with Employment Tribunals and High Court Litigation work, and advising on employment status and types of working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Employment Litigation cases for SMEs and companies, ensuring effective completion of administrative tasks and maintaining accurate client files.
  • Advise on employment status and types of working arrangements, including negotiating with solicitors representing opposing parties and preparing court papers as necessary.
  • Represent the practice in the wider legal/business sphere, identifying and building new client relationships, and maintaining professional knowledge and understanding through training.
  • Prepare bills for payment and monitor outstanding fees, ensuring prompt payment and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other legal departments to ensure accurate cross-selling opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
