We are collaborating with a prominent player in the fresh produce sector that operates multiple facilities across the UK.

We are in search of a seasoned HR Specialist to become part of the team, with regular travel to various locations.

As the primary HR representative in the northern region, your contributions will significantly impact the success and welfare of our teams across several growing sites and a seasonal packhouse.

You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and play a vital role in our supportive and welcoming environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

HR Support:
Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries and provide support to the management teams across various locations.

Employee Relations:
Manage employee relations cases with professionalism and understanding.

Absence & Recruitment:
Oversee absence management, recruitment processes, and ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience.

Reporting & Analysis:
Compile weekly HR key performance indicators and monthly workforce reports to maintain operational efficiency.

Engagement & Compliance:
Facilitate employee forums, assist with audits, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Payroll Management:
Review and authorize payroll, ensuring precision and compliance with working time regulations.
Are you the right fit?
Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified with relevant experience in a similar HR capacity.
Experience in the fresh produce or food manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
Strong understanding of HR practices and employment legislation is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are a must.
Capability to handle multiple responsibilities and work autonomously.
Experience in payroll management and auditing processes is advantageous.
Willingness to travel frequently to various sites.

This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, with potential flexibility.
