Contract Scotland is seeking a skilled Freelance Site Engineer to join our team in Wick, North of Scotland. As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out and surveying to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Conducting quality checks on as-built drawings to maintain project standards.
  • Communicating and interpreting drawings to site staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensuring safety targets and standards are consistently maintained to protect our team and clients.
  • Administering and keeping accurate records of Quality Assurance systems on site to ensure compliance.
  • Liaising with designers and management teams to ensure project alignment and progress.
  • Attending and contributing to progress meetings to ensure project success.
What's on Offer:
  • Ongoing long-term work with a reputable civil engineering contractor.
  • Site Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 19:00pm.
  • Accommodation and travel provided to support your work in Wick, North of Scotland.
  • Competitive rates of pay for your skills and experience.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in working on civil engineering projects, particularly in substations, renewables, wind farms, and roads.
  • Proficiency in using Trimble, Trimble GPS, dumpy level, and laser level equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
