As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks, and driving process improvements to boost efficiency and uphold high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily site operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Promote a safety-first environment by ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety & Quality regulations and company policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of employees
- Collaborate with the UK Logistics Manager to develop and implement growth strategies
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance
- Lead weekly performance update meetings with the Logistics SLT on Business KPIs and OKRs
- Proven experience in operations management within logistics or supply chain environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in operational management software and tools
- Solid knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety regulations, and quality standards (ideally, at least Level 2 HACCP certification)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Project management certification and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma or Lean) are advantageous
