Zebrec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced LEAD AV ENGINEER to join our team. As a leading provider of professional services to the marine and home automation markets, we are looking for an individual who can take on a key role in the integration of audio visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary interface between the engineering team and the project manager, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with top shipyards, architects, and interior designers on high-profile projects, delivering systems to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and guide staff, adding new responsibilities as they progress, and provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and influence design and delivery of systems, ensuring they meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships and interfaces with other contractors, ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery.
  • Lead a team of engineers, delegating tasks effectively and providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Monitor and report project progress to the project manager, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of audio visual, mechanical, and electrical services, including integration, regulations, protocols, and technical language.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget, with a strong attention to detail and quality control.

Technical Requirements:

  • Multiple project experiences with Crestron DM and NVX, with a good working knowledge of networks and digital audio systems.
  • Experience with lighting systems, including programming and installation, with a good understanding of quality control and fault finding.
  • Excellent use of hand tools, test equipment, and soldering skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Foreign languages, such as Dutch or German.
  • Clean driving license, with a flexible attitude to work and a willingness to travel.
