About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Marine Cargo Insurance Specialist to join our team at IDEX Consulting Ltd as a Senior Cargo Underwriting Professional. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on a senior role in our Marine and Cargo Insurance business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite global and multinational Marine Cargo and Stock throughput business, utilizing our Lloyd's syndicate platform to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as identify new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Work closely with our Cargo Underwriting Assistants to ensure seamless execution of underwriting activities and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the Cargo Insurance market, preferably with a Lloyd's syndicate or company market background.
  • Strong wholesale and retail connections, with the ability to deepen and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
