HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Peterborough area.

Responsibilities
  • Safely handle and convey palletised packages to sub depots.
  • Emphasise safe driving practices and ensure precise documentation.
  • Typically complete 3 to 4 runs on an average.
  • Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Engage with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
