We are seeking a professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at Jack Richards & Son. As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and accuracy of delivery of loads in your charge, following delivery instructions accurately and effectively, and driving in a safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements and reporting issues to your DC team
  • Ensuring the security and accuracy of delivery of loads in your charge
  • Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times

In return, you will receive:

  • Competitive hourly rates: £12.25 per hour on weekdays and £13.75 per hour on weekends
  • Enhanced rates after 10 hours: + £1.50 per hour
  • Tax-free meal allowance: up to £10 per day
  • Night out allowance: £26.20 per night
