Activity Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activity Coordinator to join our team at Bupa Care Home. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities and events that promote the physical and mental well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver morning and afternoon activity sessions, including musical acts, days out, exercise classes, and arts and crafts.
- Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget.
- Support residents in participating in activities and encourage them to engage in social interactions.
- Organize birthday surprises for residents and ensure everything is organized for planned activities and events.
- Liaise with external companies and performers to organize days out and events at the home.
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner duties when necessary.
- Organize one-to-one sessions with residents, including reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, and socializing.
- Update paperwork, care plans, activity notes, and manage emails.
- Support the home with social media channels as required.
We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills. You should be able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork effectively, while prioritizing tasks as they arise. A passion for caring for others and making a difference in people's lives is essential.
