Exciting Opportunity for a Building Services Engineer

An esteemed interior refurbishment contractor based in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join their skilled and diverse workforce. With an in-house team specialising in Project Management, Concept and Technical Design, and Procurement, they offer a unique blend of office-based work and on-site visits.

The Role:

As the Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and producing the Mechanical and Electrical design of various projects, typically from RIBA stage 3. Your role will involve close collaboration with client-side MEPH consultants, managing relationships with the supply chain, and working alongside the Project and Cost Management teams to refine and deliver design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the Mechanical and Electrical design of projects.
  2. Work closely with the internal Project Management and Cost Management teams to ensure smooth design development and execution.
  3. Conduct site visits and manage day-to-day project requirements as needed.
  4. A mechanically biased MEPH designer with on-site experience in HVAC installation.
  5. Proficiency in CAD software.
  6. Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently lead a team of consultants to meet project deadlines.
