Air Conditioning Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at PRS Recruitment Services. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment, including service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in air conditioning and refrigeration, with experience in commercial building services or facilities management. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and COSHH.

The role offers a competitive salary of £45,000, overtime, free parking, pension, career pathways, and much more. Overtime is available, and there are fantastic opportunities to progress within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and COSHH.
  2. Undertake AC, AHU, and other mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk with relevant SLA's.
  3. Ensure equipment operates to a specified performance criteria.
  4. Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  5. Take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
  6. Provide asset information updates as part of the PPM process.
  7. Assist with access for our subcontractor servicing, callouts, and repairs.
  8. Commercial PPM reactive maintenance under contractual SLA.
  9. HVAC Plants.

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent (minimum) in Air-conditioning and refrigeration.
  2. Commercial experience in Building Services or FM Background.
  3. Experience with VRV's, VRF's, chillers, Air handling units.
  4. Air conditioning and refrigeration knowledge.
  5. Flexible with a positive attitude and approach.
