Groundwork Ganger Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Groundwork Ganger to join our team at Reliable Contractors Limited. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of sites for construction projects, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a small team of operatives in site preparation, concrete finishing, and plant operation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate with foremen and other site staff to achieve project goals
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order
  • Develop and implement effective site preparation strategies to minimize delays and costs
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in groundworks, concrete finishing, and plant operation
  • Hold a CSCS Gold Supervisor card and relevant certifications (e.g., SSSTS, SMSTS)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
