Mechanical Project Manager at King & Moffatt
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to become a vital part of our skilled team at King & Moffatt during a significant growth phase in the UK. This position entails overseeing project execution in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, EHSQ standards, and financial objectives. The role encompasses a mix of administrative duties and on-site responsibilities dictated by project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in tender transition and project kickoff discussions.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contract particulars and specifications.
- Set up communication distribution lists for each project.
- Ensure clarity of roles among team members and address any challenges.
- Develop project timelines with critical milestones.
- Oversee Requests for Information (RFIs), design finalization, and technical submissions.
- Supervise the procurement and timely delivery of essential items.
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to manage project finances.
- Track labor and budget plans effectively.
- Monitor site advancement and quality assurance.
- Regularly update progress documentation.
- Compile monthly reports for review by Senior Management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a Mechanical Project Management role.
- Background in Trade or Engineering with experience in Construction or Project Management.
- Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
