Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, overseas agents, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Take bookings from operators and input them into our database, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Verify customer invoices for customs compliance, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Liaise with our internal customs compliance team to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with carriers, customs agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Ensure effective communication between key departments, including customer handling, transport, and warehouse.
  • Charge and cost shipments accurately, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Requirements:
  • Experience in freight forwarding operations or logistics planning is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, with minimal supervision.
  • Numerate and high level of accuracy, with attention to detail.
