As the Innovation Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions that enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to the Trust's strategic objectives. You will work closely with clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement cutting-edge healthcare innovations.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the Trust's vision and priorities.
- Identify and evaluate promising innovation opportunities across various healthcare domains.
- Lead and manage innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the Trust by promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and creative problem-solving.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented innovations, ensuring they deliver tangible benefits to patients and the organization.
- Proven track record in leading and managing innovation projects within a healthcare setting.
- Deep understanding of the clinical-academic-commercial interface.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project management expertise with experience in managing to time and budget.
- Knowledge of innovation methods, processes, tools, and best practices.
- Consulting experience in strategy or digital transformation within healthcare.
- Experience working in NHS and/or public sector environments.
- Track record in enabling and building new businesses or products in the health sector.
- Strong understanding of clinical research governance and definitions.
