About the Role
A vacancy has arisen within the Data Quality Team for an experienced Data Analyst to support statutory reporting. This small, specialist team (6 FTE) enjoys a collaborative culture with regular cross-team meetings and collective problem solving.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting the preparation and production of four key student statutory returns to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). You will utilize tools such as SQL Developer and Alteryx Designer to extract and transform data from the student records system (SITS: Vision).
Extensive quality assurance work is essential to ensure that the submitted data meets high standards and adheres to validation and quality rules. The post holder will also have line management responsibility for a Student Records Officer and oversight of the Student Registration process.
About You
You possess proven line management experience, coupled with excellent coaching and development skills. Your strong organizational abilities enable you to effectively manage multiple projects and competing deadlines, remaining calm and methodical even under pressure.
As a strong communicator and team player, you can collaborate seamlessly with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all levels within the collegiate University.
