Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Policy Advisor to join our team at Gemserv. This role is pivotal in influencing the future of hydrogen energy within the UK.

About Us
Gemserv is a leading organization in the hydrogen sector, playing a crucial role in the dialogue surrounding energy transition strategies. Our mission is to facilitate the development of policies that will support the growth of hydrogen technologies over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and the Head of Policy to execute Gemserv's strategic initiatives.
  • Lead collaborative working groups, engaging with members to formulate policy stances and address industry challenges.
  • Partner with members and our team of analysts to craft consultation responses, reports, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Represent Gemserv at industry events and conferences, delivering impactful presentations and participating in panel discussions.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the industry, including local and national government officials.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydrogen technologies and their significance in the energy transition.
  • Strong organizational abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in managing teams is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information
