Job Title: Principal Policy Planning Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Policy Planning Officer to join our team at Allied Healthcare. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the effective renewal and regeneration of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning policy and research tasks that enable the successful delivery of the Local Plan and associated Area Action Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents.
  • Ensure timely and meaningful engagement of other Divisions, elected members, statutory and non-statutory bodies, developers, and public stakeholders in the above processes.
  • Manage discrete research and policy development/drafting and projects, including management of consultants.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in policy planning and research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £19.96ph PAYE and a temporary contract.
