Job Opportunity: Buildings and Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Buildings and Site Manager to join our team at Evoke Staffing Ltd. This role offers a great career opportunity for a facilities manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience gained in the education service sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall site services, including the allocation, inspection, and monitoring of contracted building and remedial works. This will involve managing and directing external building contractors to ensure that works are carried out on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to the school and wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the school and premise site security systems remain in excellent working order on a 24/7 operation.
  • Assuring strict Health and Safety Regulations, including Fire and Evacuation, Asbestos and Legionella checks, Security System Testing, assessment and investigation, site access routes, and site vehicle checks.
  • Arranging internal decoration and site repair works, including obtaining the best price versus budget allowances and ensuring timescales match those of the school.
  • Reporting to the Regional Estates Manager, attending regular meetings, providing reports and improvement logs, detailing all works and possible concerns.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role or within an Estate Management post, with extensive Health and Safety Site experience, and a Full UK Driving Licence.
