About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Prop Maker to work closely with our creative and production teams to bring designs and ideas to life. As a Prop Maker, you will have good knowledge of prop-making processes, materials, and methods of construction, as well as an understanding of different scenic paint finishes.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the creative and production team to bring designs and ideas to life
- Good knowledge of prop making processes, materials, and methods of construction
- Experience of working in a busy workshop with multiple projects at the same time
- Take ownership of solo projects and meet deadlines
- Contribute equally in collaborative projects
- Knowledge of CAD software
- Sewing skills
- Knowledge of moulding and casting methods
- Previous experience making props within the Film/TV/Theatre industry
- Knowledge of health and safety when working with chemicals and familiar with COSHH sheets
