Interim Senior Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Manager to cover a maternity leave position at Savills Management Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the property, including overseeing the management team, ensuring the building's amenities are well maintained, and developing a positive working and social environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the site-based management team, including the property manager and engineering manager.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enlivenment program to engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Chair monthly occupier meetings to ensure customer service levels, innovations, and feedback are obtained, minuted, and actioned.
- Inspect the building and common areas regularly to ensure high standards of maintenance and implement a program of repairs as needed.
- Manage the production of the annual building service charge budget and management accounts, ensuring strict adherence to published programs and monitoring expenditure for value for money.
- Approve supplier invoices and ensure they are processed for payment through the Savills systems.
- Ensure Health & Safety, emergency procedures, and safe working practices are established, maintained, and conform to current legislation.
- Act as custodian of building manuals, including Operations Manual, Health & Safety, and Accounts Manuals.
- Ensure all Building Key Service Commitments related to the Building are completed in line with company policy.
- Pro-actively procure building and contracted services, ensuring the requisite standards for management and delivery of building services are upheld.
- Oversee and ensure House Rules and Regulations are followed, and permits to work for contractor activities within the Building are raised.
- Lead the delivery of sustainability objectives of the client and Savills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in service charge budgeting.
- Comprehensive understanding of property statutory compliance guidelines.
- Knowledge and experience with regards to occupier fit outs, landlord works.
This is a fixed-term contract (FTC) position, covering maternity leave due to commence in November 2024 until the end of 2025. The working hours are Monday to Friday, and the salary is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
