Mobile Fire and Security Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Fire and Security Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Mobile Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire and security systems across the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain fire and security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best placement and configuration of systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation and basic maintenance of fire and security systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deployments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and extinguishers.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CSCS Card (desirable).
  • IPAF Licence.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor environments.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for configuration and maintenance.
  • Experience with construction site or event security setups.
  • Knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and control systems.
  • Electrical or electronics background or certification.
