Construction Planner Job Description

Are you a skilled Construction Planner looking to progress your career in a dynamic and innovative company? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Planner to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain construction schedules from Target Cost Estimates and design work packs
  • Utilize Primavera Planning software to ensure compliance with workflow process and optimize resource allocation
  • Liaise with asset planners to ensure project resource requirements are included in asset schedules
  • Integrate with estimating functions to fully understand schedule requirements and maintain up-to-date project plans
  • Analyze project plans utilizing critical path analysis and develop scenarios to present to the project management team
  • Apply industry standard reporting techniques for schedule and cost reporting (EVM, CPI, SPI)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a main building contractor
  • Familiarity with project planning processes and proficiency in Primavera Planning Software (P6)
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Package skills and ASTA knowledge and understanding
