Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering professional to join our team at TQR in Plymouth. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in supporting new product introductions, driving cost reduction initiatives, and improving quality and reducing risks within our supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Engineering, with experience in a similar procurement role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use market and industry intelligence to identify, vet, and qualify new suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
  • Drive inventory reduction and track savings made on sourcing projects.
  • Mentor and educate suppliers as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. Experience in a similar procurement role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  3. Excel and SAP proficiency.
