We are seeking a highly skilled Product Compliance Specialist to join our team at CMR & Life Sciences. As a key member of our Product Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our clients' product portfolios with global chemical regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver chemical compliance and SDS management, ensuring alignment with business standards and legal requirements.
  • Collect and coordinate necessary data for SDS creation and revision, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Plan and execute SDS authoring activities, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Review and validate SDSs, including classification codes and ingredient lists for labeling.
  • Distribute and track SDSs across the supply chain, ensuring all stakeholders have access to up-to-date information.
  • Provide technical support and expertise on chemical compliance to various internal teams.
  • Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to SOPs and best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of supplier information to secure cooperation and trust.
Requirements
  • A strong academic foundation in a relevant chemical discipline (MSc preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of global chemical regulations and the GHS framework.
  • Proven experience in SDS creation, preferably with knowledge of VERISK 3E platform.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and tight deadlines effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to influence and manage upwards.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £17.16 (PAYE) or £23.10 (Umbrella) for this 6-month contract with a possibility of extension.
