Position OverviewMaintenance Technician
Location: Morden, United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities- As part of the Morden Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of machinery in a production facility that manufactures high-quality gas cylinders for various sectors including food service, pharmaceuticals, and education.
- This role requires hands-on involvement in maintaining all equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with operational and safety protocols.
- You will be tasked with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all equipment at the cylinder filling site.
- We seek a highly motivated individual with competencies in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
- Adherence to operational procedures is essential, and the ideal candidate will understand the importance of safety, health, quality, and environmental standards.
- Collaboration with production, maintenance, engineering, and contractors will be crucial for planning and executing all scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Energetic, self-driven, and disciplined work ethic.
- A level 4 Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience) in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or scientific environment is advantageous.
- A systematic and logical approach to problem-solving is essential.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are required.
- Familiarity with MS Office and SAP is beneficial.
